A flat tarmac course round the perimeter of the international rowing lake. Curiously you run one and a half circuits and then double back on the second circuit. Very hot conditions again but at least there was an occasional breeze. Unusually the overall race winner was a V50 which negated a valiant attempt by Laurie to defend his V50 title here. The race used the same chip timing system as the Town and Gown but the results produced are the gun times! |
